This is my first attempt at a matte painting, a mix between photomanipulation and digital painting. This painting was a ton of fun to do and i've learned a lot from it. I painted this for a very good and talented friend of mine who is working on a fantasy book. If/when she gets it published, this will be the book cover. The painting is of a location from her story, but you'll just have to read it for more information. :)
